In June 1966, 22 students from Wyoming and surrounding states embarked on their careers in Automotive Technology in Laramie, Wyoming. WyoTech has graduated over 26,000 students since then from all across the nation.
WyoTech reached a significant milestone when our doors opened in the spring of 2002 for training in the automotive and collision/refinishing industries at our branch campus located in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. In addition to the Automotive and Collision/Refinishing core courses, WyoTech - Blairsville offered specialty training in Street Rod, Chassis Fabrication, Trim and Upholstery, and Management. In 2006, the campus again expanded to include Diesel Technology, Light Duty Diesel, and High Performance Power Trains.
We believe our commitment to our students is to continually upgrade our facilities to meet the growing demands of the diesel, automotive, and collision/refinishing industries. Our instructors keep on top of the latest techniques in the industry. And you can bet, they not only talk-the-talk; but they also walk-the-walk. You'll learn from instructors who have been there!
WyoTech Blairsville Housing
WyoTech Blairsville offers safe and affordable housing in two locations. Students may choose from Indy Park, a new facility located a mile from campus, or Oakland Rooney, a dormitory 13 miles from Blairsville in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Both are furnished and include a variety of utilities. The school also offers free bus transportation to transport students to and from campus and within the community.
